Tanzania Cashew Growers Plc and TOKYO8 GLOBAL Sign MoU to Develop Bio-Fertilizer Industry
Njombe, Tanzania — 12 August 2026: Tanzania Cashew Growers Plc and TOKYO8 GLOBAL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at establishing a bio-fertilizer industry in Njombe Region district of Makambako.
The MoU, signed in the presence of the Assistance Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS) of Njombe Gumbo Mvanda, marks an important step toward promoting sustainable agriculture, supporting local farmers, and strengthening Tanzania’s agricultural value chain.
The proposed bio-fertilizer industry is expected to contribute to the production and availability of environmentally friendly agricultural inputs, while creating opportunities for investment, employment, technology transfer, and improved agricultural productivity in the region.
